The Rescue House is a non-profit, all volunteer-based organization dedicated to assisting cats through its rescue, foster and adoption activities.
We find loving homes for unwanted, abandoned, homeless and abused cats. We open our arms to socialized, people-friendly cats that need assistance, regardless of age and often regardless of handicap. We find good homes for every cat that we take in – we are a true no-kill cat rescue organization. Since our inception in 1999, we have rescued over 9,300 cats. We find loving, permanent homes for them through our 8 adoption centers in San Diego County, located in pet stores that work with us and share our philosophy.

LOW COST SPAY NEUTER CLINIC-helping families with pets who meet our income guidelines. NAWS also helps area resuce Groups and free-roaming colony
managers with services. We work with over 25 rescue groups in finding homes for abandoned animals, Supply pet food, toys, collars, leashes and towels to the groups.
